Jesus’ Empty-tomb Story Could Not Have Occurred

Those who have any kind of knowledge of Jewish history, Jewish tradition, Jewish Law, and in particular, Jewish practices in the First Century CE are acutely aware that this passion account concerning the treatment of the dead body of Jesus three days after his crucifixion and death could have never, never, ever happened. It is a completely fabricated story for a non-Jewish audience unfamiliar with Jewish Law and practice.

Rabbi Tovia Singer explains why this story of the cleaning and anointing of the dead body of Jesus by certain Jewish women who were among his early disciples is a completely fabricated story and not an event that would have ever taken place in the real world, not among Jews then or today.
