"Kavod" - That Big Heavy Thing

Kavod ( כבוד ) is the Hebrew word found at least 199 times within the Tanakh (Jewish Bible). It has come to mean several things down through the centuries; anything from respect, honor, the glory, the radiance and so forth. However, at its core it simply means heavy, or "that big heavy thing."

In this video author Paul Wallis and world renowned Biblical/Hebrew scholar Mauro Biglino discuss the origins and mystery behind this intriguing word. In light of the findings found in ancient Sumeria (Iraq) of cuneiform writings that pre-date our Jewish Scriptures by at least a thousand years and older, their take on the word Kavod is something no one with an enquiring mind should completely ignore.
